Highway

Located just 15 minutes west of I-35 on I-90, Austin is ideally situated for highway transportation. Austin is located within 500 miles of many Midwestern market areas including Minneapolis/St. Paul and Duluth in Minnesota, La Crosse and Milwaukee in Wisconsin, Chicago in Illinois, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines in Iowa, Omaha in Nebraska, and Kansas City and St. Louis in Missouri.

There are 7 on/off ramps from I-90 making our community very accessible. Both industrial and commercial sites are located around the I-90 corridor. Additionally, Austinites enjoy the 10-minute maximum commute to residential areas.

Air

The Austin Airport accommodates corporate jets with a 4,800 foot runway which is scheduled for expansion by the City of Austin.

Rail

Since 1980, local manufacturers have worked proactively with railroad providers to maintain access to the railroad. The current service provider is I&M Rail Link, LLC. Metro communities served by this line include Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago, and Kansas City.
