Sola Fide Observatory, Austin, Minnesota

Sola Fide Observatory was donated to the city of Austin
in the fall of 1991, by a local doctor. The observatory
is located 5 miles south of Austin on 3 acres of land.

A 10" refractor was in the 12 foot dome originally.

In 2002 it was replaced with a 16" Newtonian Reflector.

The observatory is open to the public two saturdays
a month. Volunteers run the observatory programs
in conjunction with the JC Hormel Nature Center.
